Retromobile, a major classic car show in Europe took place from 8-17 February 2008 at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles. It was Bonhams first sale at Rétromobile with highlights include a Mercedes Type S Torpedo by Saoutchik, a Mercedes 500K, the 1989 World Sports Car Championship-winning Sauber Mercedes C9, a wonderful Farman A6B Super Sport which was originally owned by the Maharajah of Idar, and a nice collection of Bugatti.
